๐’๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž : A recap of the versatile accessories from the SS20 collection โฃโฃ

With Supreme weโ€™ve grown accustomed to fantasy-level product collaborations; their link up with haute couture-beast ๐˜“๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ช๐˜ด ๐˜๐˜ถ๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜ต๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ went down as one of the most coveted fashion collabs of the decade, and similar pairings with Playboy and the sunglass empire Oakley canโ€™t be far behind. For their Spring/Summer 2020 accessories though, the NYC street legends have abandoned the common conception of a fashion collaboration. In itโ€™s place we get Supreme red OREOs, a BMX bike made in partnership with S&M Bikes & a fully loaded MAC Tools workstation. โฃโฃ

The accessories for the collection began to drop in February and have slowly been unveiled since in typical Supreme fashion. The brandโ€™s founder James Jebbia is something of a marketing guru, continually working the iconic Supreme brand into unrelated products that yield a hefty price tag. This trend has split the internet down the middle; on one side you have die-hard supporters who salivate at any drop with a smidge of the Supreme iconography, and the other is a sour mob of people who will jump at any chance to tell you youโ€™re being ripped off. With the Supreme Mac workstation coming in a price tag of $8,800 USD, perhaps an argument can be made on either side. โฃโฃ

Additional accessories teased in the drop include a Supreme x Numark turntable in the signature red, a collaborative pair of Leica binoculars, a set of Polaroid photos branded by Supreme with FUJIFILM and various towels and jewelry. Originally retailing for $8/cookie through Supreme, you can now find their OREO cookies on ebay at a resale price of anywhere around $20,000/pack and upwards; thatโ€™s almost $7k per cookie.
